Cory Grinder
In the heart of bustling flea markets and on the lively street corners, Cory Grinder honed his distinctive performing style. With the melodies of his fiddle scratching through the air and his voice soaring over the chatter of loud crowds and the rumble of passing cars, he cultivated a powerful, resonant sound that effortlessly cut through the noise. Cory's journey began with busking wherever he could find a crowd, but he didn't stop there. Dive bars and honky-tonk joints became his second home, offering an intimate stage to showcase his talents. It was in these gritty venues that he forged his connection with the audience, pouring his heart and soul into every performance. While traversing diverse musical landscapes, Cory amassed a vast collection of songs, each one a testament to his passion for music. Inspired by the timeless genres of Bluegrass, Western Swing, and Honky Tonk, he began to weave his own compositions into the fabric of his sets.
His musical journey led to the creation of his debut album, 'Cahoots and Other Favorites,' released under the moniker 'The Cory Grinder Band.' While crisscrossing the country, bringing his unique brand of country music to audiences far and wide he released four more stellar records—'Good Boy,' 'Honky Tonkin Beauty Supreme,' 'Snacks,’ and ‘And More…’ with 'Cory Grinder and the Playboy Scouts' (2023 Ameripolitan Honky Tonk Band of the Year nominees.) With another eagerly anticipated record slated for release in the 2026, Cory Grinder's journey through the world of music shows no signs of slowing down. But Cory's not just a musician; he's a dedicated two-step dancer, finding immense joy in sharing the art of country dance with others. Be it on stage or beneath the twinkling lights of the dance floor, he extends an invitation: "We're on a mission to take our country music far and wide. We hope you'll join us at a show soon. Don't hesitate to ask me for a dance!"
